Rogers Historical Museum
Rogers, AR
At this family-friendly museum you can explore a recreation of a downtown of yesteryear in our “First Street” exhibit. Or you can step into the early 1900s with a tour of the restored 1895 Hawkins House. The Museum offers rotating exhibits on area history and hosts traveling exhibitions from a variety of sources including the Smithsonian Institution’s Traveling Exhibition Service. All of the Museum’s exhibits include hands-on activities, but a special favorite with youngsters is “The Attic,” an entirely hands-on exhibit modeled after the top floor of a Victorian home. The Museum also has a research library available for public use and offers a variety of educational programs for children and adults.
