The West Sacramento Historical Society was established in 1993 to preserve the history of West Sacramento and to provide an opportunity for individuals and groups to learn about and experience the rich culture of our past. The WS Historical Society established the Museum and Visitor Center, the first museum in West Sacramento, on February 20, 2005. In addition to exhibits, we provide special screenings and book signings for projects relating to West Sacramento history. Our staff are also available for speaking engagements.
