DAR Museum

The DAR Museum, DC’s only decorative arts museum, consists of 31 period rooms and two galleries displaying art such as furniture, quilts, costumes, samplers, ceramics, glass, silver, paintings and toys made or used in America from 1700 to 1850. The museum also has a touch area and a mini-furniture gallery for children to explore while learning about early America.
