The Culture & Heritage Museums is a linked system of cultural institutions that currently include Historic Brattonsville, McCelvey Center-that houses the York County Historical Center, Museum of York County and the planned Museum of Life and the Environment.

Our mission is to create an enlightened and engaged citizenry by keeping, communicating and connecting our cultural, historical and natural heritage in ways that promote deeper understanding of people and place.

Funds given to the Culture & Heritage Museums through sponsorships, donations, tributes, memorials, fund-raisers, etc. go towards keeping with our mission to communicate and connect our cultural, historical and natural heritage in ways that promote a deeper understanding of people and place. Proceeds go towards assisting CHM in continuing its mission of providing quality exhibitions, preservation, education and programs to the community, as it has done for more than 50 years.
